This overly clever adaptation of American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis' misanthropic skewering of upper-class college life features a pack of TV cuties (James Van Der Beek, Jessica Biel, Fred Savage) trying to shake their squeaky clean reps by playing utterly irredeemable creeps. Ian Somerhalder fares the best here as a bisexual hunk who has eyes for Van Der Beek's heartless womanizer. There're a lot of interesting things going on here, though the film's annoying reverse action moments aren't included on that list. DVD extras include filmmaker and actor commentaries, scene breakdown, trailer and promo spots and widescreen format.
