| Drag has figured prominently into many of our favorite films throughout the 10 years of Q Cinema –- from Leslie Jordan’s Tammy Wynette-obsessed Brother Boy in Sordid Lives to the familiar faces in the locally produced documentary Queens for a Night. Now we’re taking the stage at long-time festival sponsor Best Friends Club with our first ever mixed media drag pageant all tied into the magic and music of the movies. The evening is hosted by local luminary Kaela Simone with special performances by former Imperial Court de Fort Worth/Arlington Regent Empress XXVII Sapphire Rose and reigning Regent Empress XXIX Angela Aaron-Winchester, who was also Regent Empress XVII, who will also join our judging panel. | ||
