"The staff runs an extremely well-organized, diverse and quality festival -- and they treat the filmmakers like gold
(a truly rare thing in the festival world)! Fort Worth is very lucky to have such a fantastic film festival to represent the
GLBT community, and I have no doubt it will keep growing in quality, visibility and popularity in the years to come.
There are many things a director experiences when trying to premiere an indie film even getting into a festival is not
particularly easy, not to mention the anxiety of putting your work onscreen in public for the first time. To have premiered in
such a lovely setting to such an overwhelming response well, I count myself very lucky. The experience inspired me to
keep pushing the film in other markets as well as keep creating other projects for an audience that I know is out there.
I can't wait to bring something back to Q Cinema, and wish you all the best success in the coming years!"

Dewey Moss, director of A Normal Life, shown at the 2003 festival

"Thanks again for having Neverland at this year's festival. You really do a great job over there.
I really had the nicest time and I will make sure to tell other filmmakers/festivals what a
CLASS ACT you've got going on in Fort Worth."

Damion Dietz, director of Neverland, shown at the 2003 festival

"One of the best experiences I've had at a film festival. The attentive and gracious
staff displays a knowledge of and a passion for cinema. A truly first-class affair."

Perry Dance (on the right, with star Kip O'Neal), producer of WebCam Boys, shown at the 2001 festival

"Thanks for a wonderful experience at the Q Cinema film festival, our first film festival.
We're very new to this whole experience and to the industry. We didn't know what to
expect but can say with all sincerity that your hospitality and generosity was most appreciated
and will forever be remembered. You made us feel proud to be filmmakers."

"Q Cinema selects the most unique and prominate gay cinema
