When a widow (Margherita Buy) discovers that her late husband had a seven-year affair with a man (Andrea Renzi), her curiosity about her partner's secret life fuels a friendship with the lover and his atypical circle of friends. It's to director Ferzan Ozpetek's (Steam) credit that, even though on the surface the characters may appear to be gay archetypes, none is ever reduced to stereotypical set dressing. And Buy and Renzi have a genuine chemistry together. In Italian with English subtitles.
