Die, Mommie, Die!
QQQ

A collaboration between Charles Busch and John Waters is inevitable. They both share the same trashy inspirations and a passion for melodramatic nonacting. Adapting his stage play, Busch also stars (in drag, again) as aging singing sensation Angela Arden, a boozing, faded diva in a loveless marriage whose only joys in life are her adoring gay son and her attentive, physically gifted gigolo (Jason Priestley). Stealing liberally from Hollywood thrillers such as What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and Hush . . . Hush, Sweet Charlotte, Busch crams his often uneven film with enough campy treats to satiate even the most discriminating tastes. The DVD includes filmmaker and actor commentaries, anatomy of a scene featurette, costume photo gallery, music videos and widescreen format.
