Two little words, and suddenly your whole world changes. This collection of short plays is

by an A-list lineup of writers with two Pulitzer Prizes, four Obies, an Emmy® and three Tony®

nominations between them. Standing on Ceremony offers unique takes on the moments

before, during and after “I do.” Witty, warm and occasionally intensely moving, these plays

are vows to the blessings of equality, the universal challenges of relationships and the often hilarious power of love. This production contains adult language, romantic situations and discussion of violence. The plays were written by Mo Gaffney, Jordan Harrison, Moisés Kaufman, Neil LaBute, Wendy MacLeod, José Rivera, Paul Rudnick and Doug Wright. It was conceived by Brian Shnipper. Frequent QLive! muse Adam Adolfo directs this fiercely relevant group of short plays starring Austin Ray Beck, Todd Camp, Jill Ethridge, Erica Maroney, Lorens Portalatin, Joshua Sherman, Kristin Spires and Kyle R. Trentham.
