Georgia Ragsdale has been a Q Cinema favorite since we first screened her concert documentary Sporty Girls at our 2000 festival. The now insanely popular lesbian comedienne -- born and raised in Houston, Texas -- presents the Texas premiere of her feature film writing debut, a hilariously campy send-up of the surfer chick flick Blue Crush. Three childhood friends reunite later in life to soak up some rays, catch some waves and relive old times, but a recent divorce combined with the shadow of former tragedy leaves one friend questioning the paths she's chosen.
