Guys and Dolls takes a look inside the world of doll collecting through the eyes of four men who discuss topics ranging from childhood conflicts, the rise and fall of the doll show and how their lives have been changed (for better or worse) by dolls. Found follows a group of gay friends who are thrown for a loop when two of them hook-up. Shockwaves ripple through the group until one of the couple is found murdered and the police begin to look at the friends to find the killer. Leather Jacket Love Story star and TCU graduate Christopher Bradley stars. Dallas director Steven Pomerantz explores how being black, Asian or Hispanic effects the coming out process in Skin Deep: Stories of Ethnic Diversity in Gay Culture. What can two wannabe composers do when given six months to write, compose, score, cast, direct, record and put on a musical? Dallas filmmaker/playwright Hunter Nolen helps up find out in Opening the Gates: Six Months From Concept to Curtain. Against the bustling backdrop of Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, a Malay-Muslim narrator reminisces about a teen-age relationship between himself and an ethnic Chinese classmate. Pangyau, the Cantonese word for friend, is not just the story of a close friendship, but a prism through which the writer gets to examine his feelings about the the ways in which race and religion have been used in the national socio-political discourse. The film is in Malay and Cantonese with English subtitles. Finally, Sexy, a new animated poem from the creators of festival favorite The Rape of Ganymede, attempts to answer the question, "What is sexy?"
